- About sixty years ago a man named John Boggan lived in a farm house in Ballare. He had a crock of gold and silver and in the time of an expected war, he buried it in an old cup board. He was afraid it would be stolen or robbed.
After John's death, the gold and silver coins still remained hidden, and were supposed to be guarded by an invisible man playing a fiddle. John's brother Paddy made several attempts, but his work was always in vain.
Mary Smith, a great friend of the Boggan family, knew where the money was, so after some bargaining with Paddy she decided to show him where the money was. On that moment, Paddy(continues on next page)- Collector
