  2. About 50 yeas ago food was in Kilcullen different that it is now. A farmer working all day would take food only twice a day.
    It would consist of a bottle of whey and some cold potatoes or bread if he had some to spare. Oaten meal was the chief product for making bread and was baked on a griddle.
