  1. In Halverstown there is an old house owned by Miss Geves. It is very tumbledown House. The fire is at the gable end and is lighted with furze. The windows are fitted squares of plywood which makes the shack very dark. Mary O Rourke's house is much the same only cleaner.
    In Gilltown there is a mud cabin. The roof is gone but the four mud walls are still secure, the firepace (the remains of) is visible on the side opposite the entrance
