    St. Brigid is the patron Saint of Kilcullen.
    She spent most of her life in Kildare, Curragh and Kilcullen.
    The parish is church is called St. brigid's Church.
    Near our school there is a holy well called St. Brigid's Well. The name Brigid is very frequent around this parish
    Every year on the 1st February hymns are sung over the well and prayers are recited.
