    at night. When he was about half way home his horse stood up on the road and would not go for him. A short distance from him there was a fair of horses and cattle and men selling and buying. They were fairies, they called to him to pass on. So he galloped all the way home. When he put the horse in the stable he laid down and died. The man felt sick for a long time after.
