Many years ago, when the Danes were leaving Ireland they hid some treasure on the Island called Inisturk on Clew bay. Some years later a man and his son chanced to discover the hidden treasure. On discovering it they were struck dumb. They were found dead on the following morning and their mouths open. A man named Mr Garvey found some of the treasure which consisted of plates, cups, and tables of solid gold. It was valued at one million pounds.
