  1. One time as St Patrick was coming from the reek he met a Pagan and the pagan had two hounds and he set them on St Patrick. St. Patrick made the sign of the cross and the hounds were swallowed in a big pit. Some of the people of the district have seen fairy lights at that place which is called Cluain da chon.
