    One night Andrew Lynch held a feast at his castle. That night he told all the people that their was only only one thing troubling him and that was the Long black hand. He told them all about her and one man named O’Hyne offered to try to kill her. Lynch gave him the best horse he had and a sword. O’Hyne went off on the horse and after a while he reached the old church. He knocked at the door with the sword and the long black hand came out. She pelted a churn-dash a him but it hit the wall. She caught the horse’s mane and he cut off her long black hand..
