    The old people say that you should not throw out dirt on a Wednesday. They say that you should rake the fire every night and leave a few raw potatoes on the hearth.
    It is not safe to go out to the well after sun-set. It is not right to drink water that was brought in after sun-set without putting a "coinlín" in it.
