    The feast of St. Stephen's is held the day after Christmas. On that day the wrenboys go around gathering money. They dance and sing songs and they get money. This is the ryhme they say.
    "The wren, the wren, the king of all birds.
    St. Stephen's Day you was caught in the furze
    Rise up land lady and give us your treat.
    If your treat is of the best
    I hope in heaven your soul will rest.
    Up with the kettle and down with the pans give us the
