    When a calf is seen suffering from worms the people use what they name Cleas-na-Péiste that is knot a rope three or four times then pull it and no knot remains. The calf is cured then.
    Long ago there were old people able to cure diseases by doing certain actions and saying certain words. They used use the stems of dog roses as wands and could make sticks bend or break or do anything the wanted them to do.
    If a person had warts and gets water on a rock and rubs it them they are cured immediately.
    The milk left by a ferret after eating would cure a person from whooping cough
