    Potatoes are the most common crop in Cratloe. The people of Cratloe sow them in drills.
    First of all the ground is ploughed,then harrowed and then rolled.
    Then it is ploughed secondly and left there for a week or so, then harrowed and if there is lumps in it is rolled again.
    The drills are then opened and the manure is drawn and spread on the furrows,then it is cast.
