There are a lot of old interesting stones to be seen at he present day. There are a lot of them to be seen around Quin Abbey. There is a very nice tombstone in the Abbey .it is belonging to John O'Halloran. The anvil ,the bellows, the pincers and the hammer are carved on the stone.
Headstones and tombstones are all erected to the memory of the dead, and they all bear an inscription .Some of the writing is in Latin and some of them in English.Headstones and tombstones also bear dates, and there is a different date on each of them.
There is ógham on the MacNamaras ' graves which are in Quin Abbey .There is a "cairn" in a field belonging to Denis Hasset.
