  1. There is a stone in Kildrum in a field belonging to John Clune. There is something written on it in "ogham," which nobody can make out. The stone is covered with moss.
    There is a big flat stone in John Clune's field in Quin. It supported on four stones, which are placed under it. It was on that stone that Mass used to be celebrated long ago.
    There is a ring of stones in Jim Hassett's field where the Fenians used cook their meat.
    There is a 'Carn" or pile of stones in Drim. It is supposed that a chieftain was buried there. Long ago everyone who passed that carn used to throw a stone on it and say "The Lord have mercy on him" or "Solas Dé le na anam."
