  1. There are a lot of feast days in the year some of which are :- New years day. This is the first feast day of the year. On New Years day people don't clean out the out houses or throw out the ashes. People say that if you do anything wrong on New Years you will be doing it all the year. On New Years Monday people don't reden the clay. The sixth of January is also a Holiday of Obligation. This day is called Little Christmas or the Epiphany.
    The first of February is called St. Brigid's day. The second of February is called Candlemass day. On that day people get candles by the priest for their own houses
