    eat them in the field they lighted the fire in. The fires that they light are called "cludogs."
    On May day the may-flowers are scattered on the street. If there is a spring well that several families use out of the first one there gets all the good luck for the rest of the year.
    The 23rd of June is bon-fire night and there are fires lighted on the 29th also in honour of Saints peter and Paul.
    On Hallow Ewen night the children eat apples and play tricks. They tie an apple to the ceiling and try to catch it with their mouth. There is a ring or some coin put in a cake and who ever gets it keeps it. Some
