    as any other pair but there is a long wooden handle attached to them which was made locally. The roofs of the two forges are felted. The blacksmth uses a hammer, pinchers, tongs, punch and nails in his work. The water that the blacksmith cools his irons in which is kept in a cement trouh cures warts. The forge long ago was a great place for storytelling.
