    The buttermilk is given to pigs and calves. Bread is made with it. If you had-ache buttermilk and suggar would cure it. Soda and butter milk cures a heart-burn.

  2. Our churn has lived now about twenty years and it was made by Thomas Sherdan of Lurganboy. It is barrled shaped at the bottom getting narrower till about three quarter way and then it gets wide again. A lid fits in with a hole to let the staff through. A cab slides down over the staff. Five hoops join it together.
