  1. The people about a hundred years ago ate three meals a day. The breakfast consisted of oten porridge and sweet milk. Other times the used indian or wheaten porridge.
    When these were not used they ate a smoked herring bought cheaply and wheaten or oten bread and cow's milk.
    The dinner consisted of some cabbage cooked on American bacon.
    Othertimes they ate round bascet of potatoes each
