  1. My father John Smyth found beads in the bog near [the] Skeagh lake on the Derrydamp side, in the year 1924.
    About eleven beads were on the string and the most of them were as big as small marbles.
    The beads were a yellow colour, and made of amber.
    Father sent them away and they are in Dublin now.
    No other articles were found with them.
