    Lord Dunally was one of the landlords. He was of English descent.
    He was very cruel and he evicted many tenants around Dolla and Kilmore, namely, O'Brien, O'Leary, Gleeson, Ryan, and many others. They were evicted because they were not able to pay the rent. These poor people went to the poor house. It is said he took the land from one of the Gleeson "helpers" as he did not pay his rent, this was not bad, but he took all his cattle and horses as he said they would be no good to him as he would have no place to graze them.
