  1. Skittles. It is played by putting five pieces of sticks in a ring, and number each stick, then the players each take their turn. They stand at a certain distance from the ring and try and hit one of the skittles and whatever number stick he hits he get that number. The person who gets the highest marks, wins the game.
    Knock the knocker. It is played on a very dark night by tying a very long piece of black thread to a knocker of somebodies house. It is best when the house is near a wall. The person then hides and begins pulling the thread. The person will come out, but he won't see the black thread, and he will get frightened when he does not see anybody.
    Stroving. Get a cabbage stalk and clean out the centre, then get the fibre of flax or tow. Put a coal from the fire into the cabbage
