  2. HolyWells.
In Gallarambraher about two miles from Ballyjamesduff there is a Holy Well, called "The Monk's Well". It is said to be there for a hundred years and an Old Monk passing through the town-land blessed it when he was by the well, it is at the edge of and old grave yard and a little hole in the shape of a plate is the Well. The people have great faith in it. Many people have been cured for different sot of pains.
