    There is a well in the farm of Mr James Monaghan, Carnin, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, which cures the rose. If the person is a girl a man must bathe the sore and if it is a man who is afflicted a woman must bathe it for him it has to be bathed once.

  2. Cure for warts.
    If you come across a stone with a little hole in it full of water unexpectedly you should put your fingers in the water three times and rub it on the warts three times.
    Cure of the Whooping Cough.
    The Godparent of the child affected is to give it a present without anyone telling him to do so.
