  1. A Graveyard
In Lurgan graveyard where the Deceased Father Gaffney is buried. He was Parish Priest in Lurgan for many years and he had to be wheeled about in a chair because he suffered from Rheumatism and he led a very holy life. His grave is made of marble with steps up to it and a big marble headstone with his name written on it. The grave is paved over with little white stones and it is said that there is the cure of toothache or headache in them. It is said that when the Priest is seven years dead the grave will be opened and if the body has not decayed he will be made a Saint. One time while there was a Mission in Lurgan the Missioner went to pray to the grave and it is said that Father Gaffney spoke to the Missioner and said that there was one man in the Parish he couldn't rule but that he was happy and it is said that this is true. In Maghera Chapel there is the shape of a Cross on the floor near the Altar. It is said that some priest is buried under the floor and that is the mark of his grave. The cross is of a green colour.
