are two houses almost in ruins. One of these dwelling houses was rebuilt for a cattle house. The land in Drumnegar is hilly and is fairly good. There is very little trees growing here. There are no bogs rivers or mountains in this townland. There is a little stream flowing through it which seperates it from its neighbouring townland. On the South East side of this townland there is a lake this lake is situated in Drumcalpin which is Drumnegar's joining townland.
The chief industry in this townland is farming. All farmers grow Oats, Wheat, potatoes, turnips, and cabbage. They also keep a large amount of cattle.
