    cake eating on Shrove Tuesday. Long ago a crowd of people would gather at a certain place on Easter Sunday and would bring with them eggs, bread and milk, and a skillet. There they would light a fire and boil eggs and had their feast there.
    Tea first came into use about eighty years ago. At that time the tea was not bought in lbs but in ounces. The vessels used before cups came into use were noggins, and were made of wood.
