  1. The road facing this school was the main road from Cavan to Dublin. This road goes to Gola Meeting House and on down by Dowd's Mountain. I do not know that road any further. All the traffic went this road.
    There is a Mass path through Pay Sheanon's land in Monaghanoose. It runs through Pat Clarke's, Pat Sheanon's and Mick Clarke's land to the Mass Rock in Shancrock.
    The Bloody Bridge :
    There was a man killed there, and therefore it is call bloody bridge. One day a man was coming from town. he was fighting and was killed at that bridge.
