  1. An old man comes to our house every four months. He has been doing so for many years. He sells small articles such as combs, needles, pins and other small things. The people buy from him. He gets his supplies in Dublin. He generally stays for a night, and sleeps in a hay-loft.

  2. Every year a poor old man comes to our house. He has been doing so for the past four years. He sells mats, mirrors, pictures, and lace. He stays a night and sleeps in a hay barn. He has tea, sugar, bread and milk with him. My mother cooks his meals for him, and he eats them in the kitchen.
