    house dug a drain outside the fort to let the water run. The next day there was a big storm of rain, and the drain overflowed so the man did not know what to do. When night came he went for help, but it was no use because when he came back the house was nearly covered.
    He tried to get in but he could not. Then he got a ladder and climbed up to the top and got into the house. The next morning when he woke the water was up to the window, and when he tried to get out he could not, so when he saw that he could not escape he got a rope and hanged himself. About a year after that he was seen levelling back the drain which he dug to let the water run.
