    The digging out of the potatoes
    In Autumn the potatoes are dug. First the farmers get their spades to dig, then the pickers pick the big potatoes and put them by themselves. Then they pick the small ones and also leave them by themselves in bags.
    The big potatoes are put into pits and are kept safe there. Some of them are brought home at the time for use. The small potatoes are brought home for pigs.
