  1. The wild birds found in my district are - robins, sparrows, thrushes, goldfinches, tomtits, wrens, larks, cuckoos, corncrakes, bullfinches. kingfishers, pigeons, willy-wag-tails, crows, jackdaws and hawks. The birds that migrate are - cuckoo, corncrakes, and swallows.
    The robin, blackbird, wren, goldfinch and thrush builds in hedges, the sparrow builds in eaves of thatch, the swallow builds in outhouses. The stair builds in ivy or hollow trees. The tomtit builds in stone ditches. The lark and corncrake build in grass. The bullfinch builds in rushes or in whins. The king-fisher builds in river banks. The pigeon, crow, and hawk, builds in trees. The jackdaw builds in chimneys.
