  1. My home district is the townland of Claudia, it is in the parish of Castlerahan. It is in the barony of Farnham.
There are about fourteen families in Claudia. There are about sixty two people living in it. The family name most common is Reilly.
The houses in the district are nearly al slated. There are four old people living there, they do not know Irish but can tell stories in English.
The houses were more numerous in former times because there are many old ruins about. There were a lot of people living in the district who emigrated to other countries, mostly to America.
The land is good and flat except for a few hills. The name of the river in the townland is the Inny.
