    Cormaddyduff.
    The name Drumheel was given by the tenants of the townland during the Tithe War. When the Protestant Clergyman sent for the Tithes he expected more than a just share from the people of Carmaddyduff whom he supposed to be wealthy. When demanding the money he would ask "Aren't you from Cormaddyduff therefore you are rich" and they would reply "No we are from Drumheel."
    Where we are living is known as Curragh Rachan. This name was given during the Tithe War and for the same reason.
    At Charles Bradys is Scithóg.
    Up on the hill at Caffrey's is Rachan hill because the people who lived there were always fighting.
    Around where the Farrellys live is Gob na N-éan.
