In Drumcor there is a place known as the "Lime Kiln" Long ago, lime used to be burned there, and as it was the only one in that district, the people for miles around used to come to get lime burned in it. It was carried on up to a few ago years. The owner of it is known by everyone as "Mr. Smith of the Lime Kiln."
    There was also a woman named Mrs. Connolly who lived in Lavey, she used to weave linen for herself, and for her neighbours. She had a wheel with wire nails on each side, and it was with these that she used to plait the threads. She had a big wooden box with a machine in it to make the "Linen". When she died she had no daughters to continue her work.
