    5. When there is a blue blaze in the fire it is the sign of a storm.
    6. When the fire burns clear it is the sign of a very hard frost.
    7. When you see a dog eating grass it is the sign of rain.
    8. When the walls sweats it is the sign of rain.
    9. When you see the smoke going up straight out of the chimney
