  1. One night a man was coming from Redcross from a card game.
    When he came near Mr Jack Randles he saw a girl sitting on the ditch near the house. He stood and looked over at her. She had long fair hair and she was combing it with a steel comb. She was dressed in white garments.
    We around here generally call her the beansidhe. We believe if you did her any harm she would throw the steel comb at you and it would split your head open.
    She follows some families especially when any one is ill. She is heard near the place caoining. She caoins very much like a small child crying. She gives three awful caoins at the one time
