- (continued from previous page)curing sickness. It is boiled and the water is supposed to be a cure for measles. It is also used for animals, it is given to pigs and chickens. There is another herb and it is supposed to cure a person in consumption. It is a little green herb.
- There is a kind of weed on my farm at home. It is not harmful to the land, it does not spread rapidly. It is in the bog. It is supposed to cure consumption. Long ago people used herbs. A man by the name of Mulhall was cured of consumption by the herb. A great many herbs were found in the district of Tomnafinogue long ago.
