Stew a handful of the blackbutton plant in water and drink a wine glassfull every morning fasting. Rub the skin with sulphur mixed with lard.
There is a well in the townsland of Knockatomcoyle and in the parish of Clonmon(?) and the water cures warts if they are dipped in it. There well is in a little stone trough in the ditch and there is always a little drop of water in the bottom of it. No one knows where it comes from, there is always the same amount of water in it. If anyone puts a finger that has a wart, in it the wart would fall off. The well is still to be seen.
