    He makes gates, horse-shoes, and repairs harrows, ploughs, springs, pots, and sharpens pick axes and many other things.
    The rim the wheels in teh open air, and shoe wild horses. The forge water cures warts. Farmers often give potatoes and eggs or butter for gifts. The smiths were always looked upon as being strong. The forgest are centres for storytelling and for spinning yarns.
