Working unaided in cold and heat & often fasting he did not taste or bathe in that water until he consecrated it in the oblation of the body and blood of Christ. He & many saints blessed that water and walked in it against the flood as far as its separation from the main river & He promised to pray for those who would walk thro' that water in pilgrimage. Many walk in, wash in & drink that water & many miracles have been performed there. Pattern 25th July.
