    bridges in Borris demesne across the Dianon, Ballytiglea bridge across the Barrow, Clash bridge across the Mt river, and the magnificient Viaducts, a railway bridge, crossing a road and a river.
    On the road to Bagenalstown there is a monument erected where a young stone-cutter, Finton Walshe (R.I.P.) was killed in a motor-accident.
    On the Kilcumney road, which branches off from the main Borris-Bagnalstown road at Kilgreany Cross, stands a grand stone Celtic Cross erected a couple of years ago to the memory of Father Walshe, a Borris curate, who in 1736 was murdered there.
