    St Fianna is also traditionally connected with this district. He had his church in a field in Tom Kavanagh's farm of Tinnecarrig. The ruins of the old church and graveyard are there still. There is no one buried there now.
    There is a holy well dedicated to his honour. The water from the well is able to cure warts. The water of the well is never used for anything. The field is called the church field.

    The local fairs are held each month in Graig and Borris. Buyers come to some houses to buy fat cattle.
