    There is a castle in Coothill.

    There is a castle in Coothill. In the time of the Danes this castle was built. Many of them lived there to mind the castle. In the night time they used to steep in their turn and a few would stop up to mind the castle, afraid any enemies would come to knock the castle. They had a hole over the door to throw down boiling tar on the enemies afraid they would knock the castle
