    One old man named John Kerherin was a purgatorian. He lived at Endrim near Ferbane and died about twenty years ago.

  2. There was an old going up through Creevagh. It ran at the foot of the hills to the left of the present road as you go to Shannon-bridge. Parts of this old can still be seen.
    There was another old road going from Clonmacnois to the lake in Clonfanlough.
