    from Doon to Ballyhearth when he met an old woman with a shawl on her head. Whatever side of the road he went to she went to the same side, and try as he would the woman was always before him and she would not let him pass. At last the man said “Where are you going”, and she answered “Neither to thee nor to thine.” As she said these word she vanished.
