  2. When St. Ciaran was in Clonmacnois he planted a lot of Ash trees on the Creevaghroad above St. Ciaran's Well. Two of these trees still stand on the road beside Ciaran Curley's house. They are very big trees and they are boast in the centre, and the children often hide in them when playing.
