  1. Two Other Rocks
    About a hundred years ago or more the Kilmartins of Clonmacnois owned a lot of land which now belongs to other people. There was a family of Kilmartins living almost in the same place where the present family lives, and they had a lot of children. One little boy named Michael was very fond of playing round the two big rocks in the field now belonging to Mr Whyms. He was always playing there for himself and he was always telling his mother about a little boy that used to come to play with him, but his mother gave no heed to him. One Summer's day he was out playing as usual, and he did not come in until dark night.
