    One evening as two old women were going home from doing a station they met a big black man on the road and he asked them where were they and one of them said "We were at the well doing a station. Well I wish to tell you this much" said the man "if ye go there anymore ye will never come back". So Mr. Charleton heard this and got four men to close up the well.
    One day the men were working at the well, they saw a lady dressed in white coming near them and in a few minutes they were struck blind. So Mr. Charleton brought them home in his car, and in course of time the well
