    There are a good many fairy forts in my district. They are very near each other.
    There is one very big one in a field of Mr. James Hennesy in Bathlion. It is of circular shape.
    It is round on the top with some trees growing on it. There is an embankment around it on which grow numerous trees. On the centre there is supposed to be an entrance going straight down.
    It is supposed to lead to an under - ground passage. It is said that is was built by the Danes. The owner of the field is afraid to go near it lest harm should befall him.
